OASIS provides 24-hour emergency shelter for runaway, homeless, and neglected youth ages 10-18 in Cape May County, NJ.
The program works to reunite youth with their families when possible. If returning home is not the safest choice, OASIS counselors seek alternative, stable living arrangements.
Counselors at the OASIS Youth Services Program of Cape May County provide support services including:
- Temporary care such as food, clothing, medical attention and recreation
- Individual, group and family counseling
- Substance abuse counseling and education
- Youth advocacy with DYFS, schools, courts, and police
- Educational assistance and life skills training
Referrals are accepted from the Cape May Family Court, other Family Court jurisdictions, and the Division of Youth and Family Services.
